No words today, editing bits of MIDNIGHT and playing around with the eBook compiling processes. I am happy for this slight reprieve because I really think the current episode of Midnight needs to percolate and recover after the hack ‘n’ slash job I gave it the other day. Publishing and editing the first episode over the next few days (hopefully) will engage other parts of the brain and help vatch me up on the long overdue shipment requirements.

There’s a long weekend coming up that can hopefully be used to rocket boost the slacking word count side of things… and I will soon have to come to terms with continuing CHILDSEEKER. It’s daunting, and exciting, and needs to happen I think. Major decisions loom, like keeping the two current POVs or adding some to the mix. The general plot has been loosely knocking around in my head for probably more than a year now… but I’ve not nurtured it to the point where it’s howling to be set free. It’ll be an interesting challenge catering to it as well as the paranormal episodes. The fall and winter shall hold many lessons, one assumes.
